- Support the Business Unit sales teams, through adequate promotional actions
- Create and implement in the BU adequate marketing programs to win new customers, reinforce customer relationships, and position Dufry’s products.
- Attend and participate in Weekly Operations Meeting & Promotions Meeting (person in charge)
- Elaborate and control the Operation Marketing budget (Select external A&P agencies as business partners)
- Control and measure marketing activities implementation
- Keep a close link with Retail Operations, through frequently visiting the shops and ensuring a strong coordination with the ARM & Shop Manager
- Launch necessary marketing studies and analyze results to create action plan for marketing improvement
- Analyze the customer profile to adapt appropriate actions and to be implemented for customer focused results.
- Analyze information and tools related to pricing, margin, passengers, buying habits for decision making.
- Elaborate the Marketing Plan for the Operation, in coordination with the Global Marketing Department
- Monitor, analyze and report Marketing functions and KPIs in accordance with Group guidelines
- Publish, communicate and analyze results of previous promotional campaigns for improvements
- Follow-up the definition, organization and implementation of promotions in the Operation
- o Define promotional plan, coordinating global and local actions and evaluate its sales impact and profitability.
- Cooridante with external agencies the production of all required marketing material and eleborate final layout templates
- Maximize advertising income of the shop.
- Make propositions and negotiate with suppliers and non-suppliers for advertising spaces inside shops in addition to those negotiated at HQ, identifying new commercial targets for these spaces.
- o Ensure check list & mystery shopper is organize on regular basis
- o Analyze customers complaints and determine solutions to address critical issues
- o Implementation of the Corporate Customer Service Training
- o Maintian a contact with customers to understand their needs & exceed their expactation through customer service

- Control the quality of the SKU assortment and the management of discontinued items
- Manage internal and external communication at the operation level
- Follow-up the application at the operation level of the Global Communications Plan and Customer Service Policy
- Implement Branding and Corporate Image in the Operations in line with Group guidelines and propose needed modifications based on quarterly analysis.
- Make the shop lively and fun and improve corporate image and apply it.
- Fluent in English
- Preferably knowledge of the luxury branded consumer goods industry
- 5 years of retail experience, to include 3 years in a management role
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication
- Advertising activities in shops
